No violence from Milan

Let's explain the context.
To make a long story short: on sunday 11th November 2007 the Lazio supporter Gabriele Sandri was going to the stadium but he was killed by a gunshot fired by a cop. That night there were many riots in Rome against police and newspapers started talking about violent supporters (as always).
Somebody working for the newspaper Il Giornale (it's owned by the brother of Silvio Berlusconi, Silvio Berlusconi is the owner of AC Milan football team) didn't like the image of a violent supporter with his "Milano" jumper and had the great idea to delete "Milano"!
Shouldn't the director of that newspaper apologise for deceiving his audience?
